It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Hilbourn of Cerro Gordo, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Nobles Long and Nolan Long; her husband Donald Hilbourn; her close friend Tommy Walters; and her sisters, Evelyn Ward, Doris Strickland, Velma Spruill and Debbie Etheridge.

She is survived by: her son Donnie Hilbourn (Amber); her granddaughter Brittany Ross (Collin); her great grandchild Kinley Ross; and her brother Nathan Long (Barbara). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
