He was predeceased by: his son Alexander Wyman Smith; and his siblings, Cynthia Smith Holliway and Gregory Scott Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kimberley Smith; his parents, Charles Smith and Emma Smith of Cedar Island; his children, Destiny Michelle Smith of Havelock, Jasmine Elaine Smith (Nicholas Rielly Dobert) of New Bern, Adrian Wayne Smith (Hailey Salter) of Cedar Island and Travis Parker Smith of Cedar Island; his brother Tony Smith of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Carter Wayne Smith, Serenity Elaine Smith and Spencer James Smith; and his close friends, Bruce Cedarquest and Jimmy John Goodwin. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
