He is survived by: his wife Marcella Gaskill Brittingham; his daughter Paula Brittingham Mele of Cedar Island; his son-in-law Anthony Mele of New Britton, CT; his sons, Ralph "Buddy" Waide Brittingham Jr. (Kristy) of Smyrna and Jake Brittingham (Kimberly) of Newport; his siblings, Billie Jean Massey (Jesse) of Boerne, Texas, Robert Brittingham (Mae) of Beaufort and William "Buddy" Brittingham (Kim) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Tobias James Mele, Zachary Evan Mele, Haley Marquez, Dana Malans, Elijah Brittingham, Ansley Averitt, Kaytlyn Brittingham, Lexi Brittingham, Nate Brittingham and Grayson Brittingham; and his great grandchildren, Adeline, Atticus Stone, Augustus, Annie, Elena, Sarah and Laura.
