She was predeceased by: her father Lewis Goodwin; her husband Charlie Swindell Goodwin; and her siblings, Mildred Brant and Alvin Goodwin. She is survived by: her children, Violet Daniels (Jimmy) of Cedar Island, Charlie Swindell Goodwin Jr. of New Bern and Lonnie Goodwin (Annette) of Cedar Island; her grandchildren, Tina Tatro (Randy Skinner), Jason Tatro, Christopher Tatro, Loni Marie Doshier (Brandon) and Michael Corey Goodwin (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, James Mack Doshier, Lindsay Goodwin, George Easton Goodwin, Benjamin Oliver Goodwin, Charlotte Jane Goodwin, Allison Louise Skinner and Sophia Rose Skinner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
