We bid farewell to Julian Davis Lupton of Cedar Island, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 15, 2024 at the age of 99. Julian Davis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lupton and Charlotte Lupton of Roe; his wife Alma Lupton; his daughter Janie Lorraine Lupton; his sister Madeline; his brother-in-law Leslie Morris; his sister Gladys Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Marshall Morris, Davin Fulford, Debbie Hubbard and Charlotte Morris.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Wanda Gaskill, Julian Morris (Maudia), Janie Mason (Jonathan), James Gaskill (Amy), Shennon Mason (Mark), Kendra Hubbard (John), Melissa Autry (Craig), Leslie Guthrie (Barry), Dale Hubbard, Donna Pullen (Bud) and Rodney Smith (Karen); his brother-in-law Eldon Smith, Jr.; and his granddaughter Madison Taylor.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cedar Island Methodist Church (2943 Cedar Island Rd, Cedar Island, NC 28520). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cedar Island Community Cemetery North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cedar Island Methodist Church.
