Goodwin; his sons, Scott Goodwin (Ashlyn) of Davis, NC and Samuel Goodwin; his sisters, Mary Goodwin (Nora Adams) of Wilmington, NC and Betty Smith (Bryon) of Jacksonville, NC; his granddaughter Mackenzie Goodwin; his niece Noel Goodwin; his nephews, Garrett Smith and Nathan Smith (Allie); and his great-nephew Hudson Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Island Community Cemetery Fund or Pilgrims Rest Free Will Baptist Church.
