He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Styron and Bea Styron; his son Jason Wayne Gillikin; his brother Timothy R. Styron; and his nephew Benjamin G. Styron.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Styron; his children, William Jackson Styron of Bettie, Beverly Styron Gaskill of Cedar Island and David Keith Willis of Harkers Island; his brothers, Daniel Eugene Styron (Lida) of Stacy and Bradley Styron (Debby) of Cedar Island; and his pet Bubba. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
