He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Horner and Thelma Long Horner; his former wife Barbara Cooper Horner; his children, James C. "Jimmy" Horner, Jr. (Kristen) and Becky Horner Sneed (Chuck); and his siblings, Bill Horner and Elaine Horner Conia.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Cynthia Kernodle Drumwright (late Bob), Lori Kernodle Fields (Darron) and Jennifer Kernodle Miller (Bobby); his grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica, Adam, Carson, Tiffany, Michelle, Chandler, Cassidy, Tucker and Avery; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Addison, Jamie, Rylee Rae, Rhett Wayne, Aubrie, Luke, Lila and Lucy; his stepchildren, Cynthia Glasgow Davis (Jeff) and Troy Glasgow (Cedar); and his sister Carol Horner Hyder.
