She was predeceased by: her grandson Mason Edwards; her brothers-in-law, Rick Hildebran and Tim Davis; and her parent Ethel Myers Beaver of Catawba. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Daniel Edwards; her children, Darian Lee Edwards of Catawba and Bridget C. Edwards of Catawba; and her sisters, Melissa Gaye McGinnis (Robbie) of Startown, Joann Hildebran of Icard, Debbie Davis of Hickory and Karen Abernathy (Randy) of Hickory.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658).
