We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 94, Ruth Wilma Herman Lawter of Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Franklin Herman and Myrtle Estelle Lafone Herman; her son Joel Ray Lawter, Jr.; and her siblings, Edward, Paul, Howard, Sam, Alice Overcash, Margaret Yoder, Joyce Bumgarner and Carmen Whitener.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wilma Teague of Alexander County and Beverly Snyder (Vance Snyder) of Alexander County. She is also survived by four granddaughters, two grandsons, eight great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
