She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Russell Moose and Sallie Hunsucker Moose of Newton; her husband Leonard Hamilton Jones of Sherrills Ford; her son David Hamilton Jones; and her siblings, Aubrey Moose, Jr., Demps Moose, Brady Moose, Evelyn Moose, Dorcus Moose and Rebecca Hatchett.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jones Wiley (John) of Catawba and Stephen R. Jones (Donna) of Sherrills Ford; her daughter-in-law Elaine Jones of Catawba; her grandchildren, Kristen Jones Thorne (Kenny) of Sherrills Ford, Rev. Derek Jones (Melissa) of Newton, Carrie Abernethy Underwood (Shawn) of Newton, Natalie Abernethy Miller (Aaron) of Cary, Robert Abernethy, Jr. (Tiffany) of Newton, Leslie Bromberg of Sherrills Ford, Jason Caldwell (Haley), Tonya Clark and Leigh Wiley; and also Melinda Walling of Oxnard, CA..
