He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ray Thompson and Janice Nance Thompson; and his siblings, Joe Ray Thompson Jr. and Robin Thompson Hudson. He is survived by: his son Rodney Thompson II (Erin) of Lincolnton; his siblings, Allen Hudson of Catawba and Lynn Thompson White of Denver; and his grandchildren, Garrison and Gibson Thompson Numerous. He is also survived by son Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
