She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Ray Hefner and Hilma Starnes Adair; her former husband James E. Hefner; and her brother Rodney Hefner. She is survived by: her husband Brian Coulbourn; her daughter Melanie Shoemaker (Justin) of Statesville; her stepchildren, Krystal Hefner, Nikki McCann, Jesse Coulbourn, Brandi Cox, Brett Hefner, Chad Hefner and Lucas Coulbourn; her grandchildren, Jamison Shoemaker, Damian Shoemaker, Kourtney Perkins, Colin McCann, Chelsea McCann, Braxton Cox, Zoiey Cox, Rhemi Coulbourn, Layla Coulbourn and Sophena Coulbourn; and her half-brothers, Chad Hefner and Gary Starnes.
