It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Dean Briles of Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lloyd Briles and Joann McAdams Briles; and his sisters, Vicki Briles and Sandi Briles Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shook Briles; his daughter Amanda Briles (James Golden) of Pendleton, SC; his stepson Jacob London (Vicky) of Catawba; his grandchildren, Zandar Green and Aidan London; his niece Haley W. Helton (Wesley) of Hickory; his nephew Tyler Wagner (Lindsey) of Lincolnton; his great-niece Lacie Helton; and his great-nephew Waylon Helton A.
