It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Minton Jr. (Catawba, North Carolina), born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lee Minton, Sr. and Zola Duncan Minton; his daughters, Sylvia Minton Rector and Arletta Minton; and his brother Harold Minton.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Brown Minton; his sons, Terry Minton (Linda) of Hiddenite and Donnie Minton (Helen) of Stony Point; his stepsons, Scott Kerley (Keri) of Alexander County and Danny Kerley; and his brother Gary Wayne "Tenny" Minton, Sr. of Stony Point. He is also survived by wife, children, grandchildren and his fury friend.
