She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Decker and Fay Clarke Decker; her husband James Odell Taylor; and her siblings, Melvin L. Decker Jr., Coy Decker, Jerry Decker, Thelma Abernethy and Geraldine Williamson.
She is survived by: her children, James Russell of Catawba and Debra Taylor Deal (Scott) of Claremont; her siblings, Edward Decker, Danny Decker (Vonita) of Maiden and Gwendolyn Christopher of Claremont; her grandchildren, Dale Taylor (Katie), Phillip Taylor (Jessica), Zachary Hilton and Numerous; and her close friends, Lucky and Roxy.
