It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline McCurry (Catawba, North Carolina), born in Henrietta, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Watts and Celia Ann Watts; her husband Jim McCurry; her siblings, Tilman, Quillen, Benny, Minnie, Margaret, Virginia, Grace, Lizzie and Mamie; her son-in-law Steve Walker; and her great grandchild Hallie Matney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa "Lisa" Hall (Jeff), Pam Branton (Mike), Penny Allison and Dawn Bowman (Bryan); her grandchildren, Miranda Hayes (Roger), Kisha Barnes (Derrick), Shanae Collins, Mindy Comer, Cody Oxentine, Natasha Houston (Josh), Kristina Mims (Jordy), Caleb Pennell, Callie Pennell (Josh Lackey), Ashton Walker (Clint) and Brandon Bowman (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Ella-Grace, Savannah Hayes, Jenner, Addison Barnes, Jaci, Dylan Collins, Luke Street, Madison, Clay, Brent Oxentine, Devon, Alexis, Braydin Cox, Christopher Herman, Treyton, Shalyn Ikard and Adam Mims.
She had been declining in health for the past several years, and fought the battle of Alzheimer's disease.
