She was predeceased by: her parents, James Noel Cochran and Hallie Waldrup Cochran; her husband Russell Lloyd Johnston Sr.; her daughter Donna J Storey; and her siblings, Iva Dean Eliand and Clint Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Lloyd Johnston Jr. (Shirley), William David Johnston (Marie) and Dianna J Genaway (Kevin); her brother Clayton Cochran; her granddaughters, Melissa Dunn (Rob), Amber Storey, Crystal Storey and Miranda Lowrance (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Braydon of Ghunner, AJ, Ronin, Ansley and Bennett; and her pet Rusty.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Drum Funeral Home (509 1st Ave S, Conover, NC 28613).
