She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Raymer Lawing and Ruth Mae Burgess Lawing; her sister Doris McNeil Lawing Elliott; her brother-in-law Robert Thomas Elliott, Jr. (Tom); her siblings, Billie Moore Lawing Levan and John Robert Lawing; her sister-in-law Peggy Lawing; and her nephew Robert David Levan.
She is survived by: her nieces, Rebecca Ruth Elliott Stiver (John) of Newton, Doris Kay Levan of Concord and Sandra Levan Spach (Larry) of Charlotte; her nephew Tim S Elliott (Tim Leithner) of Denver; her great-niece Jennifer Marie Stiver of Newton; her great-nephew Mark Elliott Stiver (Magdalyn) of Greensboro; her cousins, Nancy Burgess and Carlene Burgess Jarrett; her pet Bailey Bob; and also, Lila Louise Stiver and Quinn Alexandra Stiver of Greensboro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Welcome Center at the Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (701 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658).
