She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelly Tate Baker and Virla Russell Baker; her former husband Leonard Pennell; her son Arnold Pennell; and her great grandchild Blade Campbell.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Petrea; her children, Frankie Pennell (Debra), Regina Holsclaw (Bud) and Maurice Pennell; her sister Willie Lemley; and also, Larry and Elsie Bentley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
