With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Guin Sigmon of Catawba, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Henry Guin; her husband Kenneth "Ken" Burton Sigmon; her children, Darris Dean Sigmon and Kathy Schronce; her son-in-law Bryan Schronce; and her siblings, Harry Lee Guin, Sr. and Edna G. Warren.

She is survived by: her children, Ray Sigmon (Virginia) of Maiden and Anita Sigmon of Catawba; her grandchildren, Carrie Putnam, Rachel, Darren Kowalski, Amanda, Brian Leatherman, Marsha, Tyson Wagoner, Mellonee, Johnny Small, Burt, Ashley Propst, Timothy and Karen Propst; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Taylor, Tyler Sigmon, Andrew Wiseman, Austin Propst, Clayton Propst, Kylie Jackson, Vivian Kowalski, Gavin Kowalski and Aurora Kowalski.
