He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Townsend Yancey; his children, Tina Fulbright (Michael) of Vale and Jimmy Dwayne Yancey (Cathy) of Valdese; his siblings, Norma Kiser of Connelly Springs, Sue Dula of Granite Falls, Jerry Yancey of Hickory and Gary Yancey of Morganton; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Jimmy Lynn, Casey and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Dalton and Mattie.
