He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Pope and Martha Moose Pope. He is survived by: his wife Teresa S. Pope; his children, Jamie L. Pope (Nicole) of Catawba and Paula Pope Mundy of Claremont; his siblings, Melvin Pope (Miranda) of Catawba, Bonnie Plott (Carl) of Statesville, Jane Wilson (Keith) of Statesville and Julie Calloway (Ken) of Newton; and his grandchildren, Jason Mundy, Austin Mundy (Sarah), Jesse Pope and Macey Pope.
