He is survived by: his daughter Pam Setzer Killian of Catawba; his brother Coyte "Bud" Setzer (Frances) of Catawba; his grandchild Angela Leatherman (Nelson Melissa Henry); and his great grandchildren, Noah Shane Leatherman, Chloe Raye Leatherman, Mason Grant Henry and Emma Grace Henry.
