With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwen Smith Best of Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Jackson Smith; and her husband Wayne C. Best. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Johnson of Taylorsville and Michael "Mike" Gull (Lisa) of Wittenburg; her sister Sandra Lee Benham of Sanborn; and her grandchildren, Hannah "Rylee" Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Katie Gull, Jonathan Johnson and Avery Gull. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
