He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Jones and Annie Poovey Jones; and his siblings, Kathleen Drum, Virginia Smith, Winifred Vanziles and Hubert Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Stewart Jones; his children, Diane Lee (Keith), Terry Jones, Timothy Jones and Jeffery Jones (Donna); his grandchildren, Blake Lee, Kasey Evans, Corey Jones and Rachel Wagoner; his great grandchildren, Jake Lee, Morgan Lee, Walker Evans and Riley Wagoner; and his brother William Jones.
