He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hefner and Annie Hefner; and his siblings, Terry Hefner and Wanda Hefner. He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Frye Cordova of Lenoir; his significant other Sylvia Savage of Hickory; and his stepdaughter Michelle Murphy of Conover.
