He is survived by: his parent Bessie Mae Councilman McManus; his son Charles McManus Jr.; his wife Cathy McManus of Maiden; his daughter Kathy Hendrix of Catawba; his sister May Vaughn of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Duncan Thun, Laura Carpenter, Cindy Holleman, Yolanda Jamison, Jamison McManus and Stacy Parker; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Rachael, Jarrett, Colton, Bradley, Rylee, Lathan, Kelton and Madison; and also, Navy and Frederick Thomas McManus of West Jefferson.
