It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Douglas Lawrence (Catawba, North Carolina), who passed away on April 24, 2019, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benny Lynn and Janet Clary Lawrence; his brother Bryan Lawrence; his wife Joan Kincaid Lawrence; his son Alex Brent Swanson of New York; his sister Jessica Herndon (Brian) of Newton; and his sister-in-law Rebecca Baker of Granite Falls. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
