She was predeceased by: her parent Raymond M. Garrison; and her brother Jack Vernon Garrison. She is survived by: her parent Violet Cottrell Garrison; her husband Danny R. Poteat; her son Mark G. Young (Linda) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Colby Young of Hickory and Lauren Young of Bethlehem; and her brother-in-law Billy Poteat (Debbie) of Hickory. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
