It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Edward Kale Jr. of Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Kale and Lucy Vin Starr Kale of Catawba County. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Verna Kale (Steele Nowlin), Clayton Kale (Amy) of Simpsonville, SC and Jesse Kale of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Betty, Julian Nowlin, Gretchen and Troy Kale; and his siblings, Lyn Starr (Nina) of Dallas, GA, Sissy Lehmons (Dickie) of Hickory, NC and Kathy Guthrie (Scott) of Cary, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be contributed to the Tunnels to Towers foundation or to your local Humane Society.
