Betty Carter Lillard Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Carter Lillard of Casville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Carter and Maxine Carter; and her sisters, Carol Richmond, Pam Carter and Cindy McCollum.

She is survived by: her husband Erle Lillard; her sons, Edward Joel Lillard (Julia) of Yanceyville and David Allen Lillard of Mooresville; her siblings, Robert Carter (Sharon) of Ruffin, Susan Hooks of Ruffin and Debbie Hodges (Ronnie) of Ruffin; and her grandchildren, Cameron Lillard, Carter Lillard, Colton Lillard and Collins Lillard of Yanceyville. She is also survived by 1 niece and multiple nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Citty Funeral Home, Inc. (308 Lindsey St, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church (216 Cemetery Rd., Ruffin, NC 27326).
