It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Vetol Mauch Sr. of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Kris" Mauch; his mother Marlene Mauch; his sons, Stephen Mauch Jr. and Aaron Mauch; his daughter-in-law Madeleine "Maddy" Mauch; his grandson Stevie Mauch III; his brother George Mauch (Clare Mauch); his nieces, Elizabeth Leege and Margaret Mauch; his sister Ellen Brown (Bob Brown); his nephew Michael Brown; and his niece Megan Brown.
