She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Columbus Croom and Annie Mae Pridgen; her daughter Candace Harbowy; and her sisters, Marian Johnson, Aillen Croom, Iris Carey, Hazel Johansen and Eleanor Mayhew.
She is survived by: her son Stuart "Michael" Harbowy (Lucita) of Hawaii; and her grandchildren, Tristen Edward Keale Harbowy of North Carolina and Mikaela Anarose Harbowy of Oregon.
