It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hamm (Castle Hayne, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rufus, Earl, Jimmy, Arthur and Mildred.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Hamm (Hazard); his children, James Edward Hamm, Jr (Karen), Joe Marino (Celina), Butch Shepherd, Judy Hamm Rimmer (Fred), Linda Hamm Moore, Wanda Hamm Gladden (Chris), Debbie Lanagan (Kenny) and Verbie Senis; his sister Belle Sandifer; and his close friends, Woody and Sharon Melton. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
