With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Horace Watkins of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances; his parents, Ethel Mildred and Lecolon Henry Watkins; and his brothers, Adrian Watkins (Pete) and Alvin Watkins (Wayne).
He is survived by: his granddaughter Susan Watkins Thomas (Tommy); his great grandchildren, Jeremy Harts and Ashley Harts; his granddaughter Janet Watkins Harris (Nick); his great grandchildren, Brooke and Allison Harris; his grandson Patrick Watkins (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Hayden and Dylan Watkins; his grandchildren, Brett Watts and Brittany May (Cody); his great grandchild Candor; his granddaughter Mary Jane Watkins Phelps (James); his great grandchild Payton Phelps; his grandson Ray Watkins (Caroline); his great grandchildren, Savannah and Layne Watkins; and his brother Alton Watkins (Sandra). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
