She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Grizzle and Hazel Grizzle; her husband Douglas DeVane; and her sister Deborah Britt. She is survived by: her daughters, Ashley Britt of Castle Hayne and Kimberly Barnhill (Matt) of Rocky Point; her grandchildren, Vance and Lanie; and her siblings, Hubert Grizzle Jr, George Grizzle of Castle Hayne, Jeff Grizzle (Beth) of Watha and Barbara Daniel (Edward) of Rocky Point.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in her memory to the Wrightsboro Baptist Church, Building Through Faith Fund, 2736 Castle Hayne Rd., Wilmington, NC 28401.
