She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Burney, Sr. and Kate Frazier Burney; her husband G. Raymond Pitts; and her siblings, Evelyn Hall Wells (Johnny), Margaret Brown (James), Katherine Sanders (Bobby), Jesse Burney (Georgie), Bill Burney (Evelyn) and James A. Burney, Jr. (Louise).
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Hayes (Eddie); her grandson Mason Goslee (Meghan); her great grandchild Ben Goslee; and her sister-in-law Dot Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Bick's memory to Hickory Grove United Methodist Church 5959 Hickory Grove Rd. Greensboro, NC 27409.
