He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hobday and Marjorie Unger Hobday; his daughter Donna Marie Hobday Kauffman; and his brother Richard Hobday. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Jean" Henderson Hobday; his daughters, Terri Pace (John) of Castalia and Kathy Hobday of Castalia; his grandchildren, Mitchell Kauffman (Alissa), Spencer Kauffman (Allison), LeeAnn Pace Shelton (Cooper) and Grant Turner (Paige); and his great grandchildren, Kian, Rowan Kauffman, Colin and Casey Kauffman.
