He was predeceased by: his father Bennie Leonard; his wife Corinne Leonard; and his siblings, Mozelle Smith, Wilton Leonard of Daphine Murphy, J. B, Kelly Murray, Alfred Leonard and Malcolm Leonard.
He is survived by: his children, Elwood E. Leonard (Becky), Cora L. Mozingo (Mike) and Beverly L. Jeffreys (Vann); his grandchildren, Cory Leonard (Pam), Kenan Mattsson (Jeremy), Jennifer Wingo (Brad), Heather Dodgins (Bryan), Marian Walters (Drew), Lacey McCarthy (Robert), Evan Mozingo (Sarah) and Carter Mozingo; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Caroline, Dalton, Charlie, Jake, Nico, Ward, George and Margaret. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
