He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Allen and Edna Lusk Allen; and his brother Virgil Allen. He is survived by: his granddaughter Kasey; his wife Kim Berry Allen of Glenville; his sisters, Janie Watson of Cashiers and Ruth Hooper of Cashiers; and his sons, Jason Berry (Sarah) of Cashiers and Charles Allen (Traci) of Brevard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; 5 grandchildren; and many dear friends.
The family kindly asks that those in attendance wear a mask and follow the recommended COVID-19 guidelines in respect to the health concerns of Kim.
