He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Dillard Alexander Sanders and Rufus Clifton Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Trammell Alexander; his daughters, Lea Alexander (Paul Kessens), Electa Smith (Ellison) and Cacia Soares-Welch; his grandchildren, Brooke Smith (Cory Haberstock), Matt Smith and Lexi Kessens; and his siblings, Electa Pell and Milton Alexander.
