He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ward and Pearlie Hedrick Ward; his siblings, James "Franklin" Ward, Hoy Leon Ward, Neaty Ward Daughtery, Helen Marie Michael and Willia Veigh Thomas; and his stepson Todd Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Margo Jean Ward; his daughter Charlene Ward; his grandchildren, Chase Coggins, Hope, Amber Ward, Quinton Cody Goodwin (Jessie) and Clinton Andrew Goodwin (Meghan); his stepdaughter Jodi Bayes (Brad); his children, Katarina and Autumn Bayes; his stepdaughter Dawn Goodwin; and his children, Shania Goodwin, Cheyenne and Anthony Barker. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
