We bid farewell to William Martin Richards of Casar, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 31, 2024 at the age of 84. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elmer Richards and Mayzelle Martin Richards; and his sisters, Charlene Putnam, Jody Willis and Mary Blanton.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Griffin Richards; his children, Robin Wylie (Stuart), Eric Richards (Helen Malone) of Kannapolis and Jamie Rooney (John) of Boydon, VA; and his sister Paula Marshall (Bill) of Lawndale. He is also survived by seven grand children and eight great grandchildren.
