He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Brackett and Ruth Brackett. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Brackett (Lisa), Daniel Brackett, Jamie Brackett Hardin (Tim) and Jessica Brackett Hudson (Michael); his grandchildren, Joely Brackett, Jayden Reed, Mackenzie Brackett, Bethany Terry, Austin Hardin, Alex Hardin, Andrew Tran, Lucas Hudson, Kaylee Tessiner and Kelsie Tessiner; and his brother David Brackett (Karen) of Lawndale.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Casar United Methodist Church Cemetery (124 Casar Methodist Church Rd, Casar, NC 28020).
