It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Mauney (Casar, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Joe William Tessneer and Mae Lee Woodell Tessneer. She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Lopez-Banda (Efrain) of Rutherfordton and Maggie Arndt of Ellenboro; her close friend Jackie Bowen; and her siblings, Jimmy Tessneer of Vale, James Tessneer of Casar, Homer Tessneer of Lawndale, Barbara Isaac of Crouse and Vicky Blackwood of Lincolnton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
