It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Botts of Casar, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Clifford Botts, Jr.; his grandparents, Summy Owens and Laura Owens; his father-in-law Gene Morrison; and his nephew Ethan Ramsey.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Owens Botts of Casar; his wife Christie Morrison Botts; his sons, Weston Botts of Casar and Samuel Botts of Casar; his brother Matthew Botts (Ashley) of Lawndale; his grandmother Lib Botts of Casar; his mother-in-law Teresa Morrison of Lawndale; his sisters-in-law, Missy Parker (Joey) of Lawndale and Michelle Hewitt (Jason) of Lawndale; his nieces, Madison Botts, Maggie Parker, Kendal O'Neal and Kadence O'Neal; his great-niece Hattie Parker; and his close friends, Rodney, Emily Gantt, Andy, Joe, Dash and Dolly.
