She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Clingman Daves and Essie Elizabeth Wiggins Daves; her husband Johnnie Eugene Canipe; and her siblings, Paul C. Daves, Robert "Bob" L. Daves, Floyd F. Daves, Zane Daves, Charles "Bud" M. Daves, Virginia D. Gantt, Marie D. Norman and Bell D. Brown.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ann D Faggart of Concord and Gilda D. Hunt (Steve) of Polkville. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
