He is survived by: his mother Nancy Short of Casar; his children, Ricky Short of Shelby, Arkin Short of Shelby, Natalie Henson of Shelby and Skylar George of Shelby; his sister Lacy Walton of Shelby; his grandchild Zayn Henson; his grandmother Bessie Short of Casar; and his aunt Susan Short Williams (Christine Travis).
