She was predeceased by: her parents, Odus Greene and Mattie Sue Elliott Greene; and her sister Nancy Pendergrass. She is survived by: her pet Sugar; her son David L. Chapman; her sister Charlotte Greene of Asheville; and her niece Cathy Elkins of Casar. She is also survived by three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
